Each leveling base offers +/-15° of leveling capability and locks solidly with just a twist. Choose a leveling base with a flat platform for direct mounting of a tripod head. CNC machined 6061-T6 Aluminum ANTI-TWIST SAFETY SCREWS DESIGN Included 3 set-screws on the spider to secure the ballhead mounted on the tripod(turn the set-screws upwards with the included allen wrech to secure the ballhead on top). BETTER LOCK-UP Screw the leveling base onto the platform of your tripod, or any mounting platform onto which you want to mount a leveling base to. Twist the handle to lock & unlock the base.
